Pitch modulation is a simple but effective way to add character to R&B chord progressions. And whilst presets that utilise pitch modulation exist, there aren’t many. It’s simply not possible with a lot of synthesisers. 

I made a video on how it can be achieved in Serum. But for anyone that doesn’t own Serum, I made a tool in Logic to easily add the effect to any sound. I called it Pitch MOD.
